Limbo between paradise and elucidating dreams,
Find me to wander those solemn streets
To the rhythm of distant possibilities and rhyme schemes.
One moment is all it takes to form a million comforting retreats.
Through wind and fire, and sleet
I pass gently by wearing aluminum sheets.
Through the stream I drift between the rocks
As I hum of what happens late on the waterfront.
But now of course as we sit silently waiting
On the wooden benches of the park stating,
That it never was a question of when,
But the question of who first wrote it with a mercury pen.
And our atoms intermingle with the rest,
Only to form storm clouds, a brief guest
To the burden we let others carry
Through the stories of our heroes, without worry.
Not that we were on distinctly different teams,
The rain just fell and I get stuck on the platform, that's all.
I managed to see but that very brief smile, however fast it'll fall.
Now I go on in limbo between paradise and elucidating dreams.
